Tweetsie Railroad!

Aaaaallllllll AbOARD.....the TWEETSIE RAILROAD!!!!!

Mackie likes to run around saying this now. Creston taught him to do that.....we'll be anywhere and Mackie will burst out with that phrase complete with a "Toot-toot", or "Whoo-Whoo!!" Have I ever mentioned that he's such a MESS????

Today, we went to see the K-9 doggie show at Tweetsie! It was really neat to see! Creston had NO CLUE what a "Dog Show" was, so he immediately decided that he didn't like it......once it started, he and Mackie BOTH LOVED it!!! Mackie kept saying "I wan ta hug dat doggie!!!" Just let me say this.......there were no dogs hugged at this event!

After the dog show, we rode up the mountain to spend the REST of the afternoon at the Playground. Yes, you heard me right...........we visit Tweetsie ONLY to play on their playground! Just kidding......BUT, I'm sure the boys wouldn't have a problem with that if that IS all that we did. It is a nice one! Creston actually LOVES to go up top and ride the Mouse Mine ride.

So...........pretty much that is all we did today....saw the dogs, and rode the mouse mine ride! Then we went and got some yummy lunch at Sagebrush $5.00 adult lunches and (Kids eat FREE)!! Can't beat that!!! It was a good day!!!!!

Mack & the Tractor!~Creston & the Cat!

When Creston was this small, Mark had him on the Tractor all of the time, and I had plenty of pictures to document it! It hit me today, that we don't have many (if any) of Mackie on the Tractor! Soooooooooo.............here are 2 for you!!

Now.......Creston is in Love with Wally......he keeps telling me "She's a cutie-pie" or "she's such a sweet kitty" or "She picked ME!!!". I keep hammering home that "She" is most definately a "HE", but he won't budge. While taking his nap today, Wally hopeed up next to him to "cuddle"! How Toot!!!

Our Walk Down the Road!

Here are some pictures I took as we walked down the road this evening! I took most of them in Sepia tones.....I really like pictures done that way! You need a little more sunlight, though! I'll work on that!

Pickles!!!

I've been a makin' pickles! Normally, Dorothy has me make sweet pickles (bread & Butter), but this year I decided to make Dill Pickles!!! I bought one of those Pickle pack kits from Wal-Mart and went at it! GREAT Flavor.......but SOFT as soft could be!!! So..................I had Mark pick up another packet of pickle mix...this time he got a Kosher Dill mix! BINGO!!! These are CRUNCHY!!! YAYAYAYAYAY!!!!! REally good flovor too! Like Clausen!! I reccommend that packet mix!

Makin' Pickles!

It has begun! I've already been freezing Squash, Zucchini, Peas, digging potatoes, and now I'm making Dill Pickles! I made sweet pickles last year, but wanted some dills, so here they are!!! Hope they turn out well!! :o)

Carrie's BIG Adventure!!!

Carrie's Batchelorette Party was last night! Juli made reservations for us at Gourmet & Co. in Johnson City. All 6 of us got together to spend some time with Carrie before her big day this coming Saturday!!! YAY!!!! Congratulations Carrie & Joe!!!! Carrie & her littlest sister, Cheri!

I got the waitress to take this one of us! The staff at Gourmet & Co. was really VERY nice!!!

The spread! Soooooo good!! We had several appetizers that included a Chicken dish on flatbread, a cheese sampler, a mini-pizza, and scallops! Yummy!!!
Juli also tried to broaden our horizons with a taste of Red and White Wine, but I just don't seem to be able to enjoy the stuff...I did appreciate the opportunity, though!!! Thanks Juli!!!

Carrie broke Elvis off of her Veil during our little party! She re-attached him, though!

The gals off to the Comedy Zone! I, however, started on the 1hour 15 minutes trek home!

It was so much fun!!! We gals need more excuses to get together !!! Congratulations again, Carrie!!!!!! We'll be thinking of you while you and Joe are gettin' hitched in Vegas!!! Lucky Dog!!!
