Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it SNOW!

Yesterday, we came home to this...

...and by last night, we had THIS...

...and THIS morning we had THIS!!!

Paw-paw brought the tractor up to push out our driveway so we could get out if we needed to...

He really likes to have a reason to get out and "Play" in the snow!!!

The boys thought that it was neat to see him on the tractor in this weather!

After breakfast, we all got bundeled up and went out to PLAY!!!

Mark built the boys a snow tunnel!

They thought that was NEAT!!!

We'll have to see what Mother Nature drops on us overnight! It's snowed most of the day and is supposed to keep it up most of the night! We'll have a White Christmas after all!!!

Our Christmas Trip to Dollywood 2009!!!

Mark decided that part of our Christmas & MY Birthday would be that we would go down to Pigeon Forge to see the Christmas Lights and go to Dollywood!!! We LOVE Dollywood!!!

Mark had a class that lasted until 12:00 noon on Thursday and on the way home, he had to respond to a house fire, so that left us leaving a bit late (2:45pm), but we did get to Dollywood at 5:15, and they didn't close until 9:00, so we had a few hours to wander around! :o)

This is us riding the tram to the main gate! It was CHILLY, but we were all bundeled up so it wasn't so bad!!!

Creston's FAVORITE movie (The Polar Express)!!! It was a motion ride!!! He liked it, then didn't, then did!! (I think it scared him a bit, but he seemed excited that he got to go on it!!)

Mark finally figured out how to get the lights to show up in our pictures! Dollywood gets decorated up soooo pretty at Christmas!

We got to see their "Light Parade". It was really cute!!

We all rode this time! Mackie is getting bigger so now he can do stuff without us needing to hang on to him every second!! Kinda nice!!

We didn't have the time to stop and see any of the shows since we got there so late, but Mark wheeled us into this particular area around 8:20 and sat down.....

It was so nice and warm that we sat there for a few minutes...then I looked at my schedule and saw that there was going to be another preformance of the Nativity story at 8:30!!! It would last 20 minutes!!! Perfect timing!!! AND we were warm too! The boys loved watching it and sat there really well during the play!

It was a really sweet little performance! I'm so glad that we got to see that one!!

THIS is the little Cchurch that sits on the Dollywood property. It was soo beautiful with all of the lights on it!

This was the nativity that sat out in front of the Church...sooo pretty! I wish we had something like that...

As we left, I had the boys stand up in front of that big tree in the main fountain! Wish the tree would have shown up more, but that's o.k.!! Mackie was chilly!!!

I'm sooooooooooooo glad that we got to go this year! We had planned on going last year, but then I got fired so we axed those plans! I'd really like to make it a family tradition that we go every year, even if it IS for only 1 night!!! It was really nice! We had to jump and run, though this morning due to the impending snow storm that was coming! Earliest that we've ever left Pigeon Forge!!!

Visions of Santa!

The day of my birthday, we saw Santa twice in 1 parade!, then again at the Mall!!!

"You MIGHT be a redneck if.........Santa brings your presents on a 4-wheeler....." I SWEAR that's what came to mind when I saw Santa & Mrs. Santa on these Cherry Red 4-wheelers! This was more like it! However, Doesn't Santa USUALLY Ride on the back of a Fire Truck???
Then....we hit the Mall! We did this the other night, but didn't have the camera handy! Mackie wasn't having ANY part of it as you can see!!
