This was the first year that I've been to the Avery County Fair. We decided that since the boys were getting old enough to enjoy it, it was time to go!
We went last night and had a really nice time! We got to see lots of neat things and animals and LOOKED at all of the rides...the boys only rode the Train, but that was o.k. after everything they got to do and ride at the Gray, TN fair a couple of weeks back!

It was a nice little fair. I think I was expecting something more along the lines of a Mayberry (Andy Griffith) or Gilmore Girls Carnival complete with hometown inspired booths and cheaper things for the kids to do.....oh me! A girl can always hope, but it really was nice! the Animals were in a better setting than at the Gray fair and the Display tent for the prize winning produce and crafts was really pretty with twinkle lights strung up everywhere!
